Imaya Clinic, a burgeoning healthcare provider in Indonesia, specializes in delivering comprehensive diagnostic and laboratory services. While committed to providing top-tier patient care, the clinic grappled with operational inefficiencies stemming from fragmented systems and manual processes.
Problem Background
Extensive research, including interviews with clinic staff and an in-depth analysis of industry trends, unveiled several critical pain points hindering Imaya Clinic's workflow:
Fragmented Systems: The reliance on multiple, disconnected software solutions created data silos and hindered seamless information flow.
Limited Visibility: The lack of real-time patient data and insights made it challenging to track patient progress and make informed decisions promptly.
Manual Processes: Time-consuming manual tasks, such as appointment reminders and billing, strained resources and increased the potential for errors.
Inadequate Analytics: The absence of robust reporting and data analysis tools limited the clinic's ability to gain actionable insights and optimize operations.
Objective
The core objective of this project was to design a user-friendly, integrated SaaS CRM solution that would revolutionize Imaya Clinic's operations. Specific goals included:
Streamlined Operations: Consolidating patient data, automating routine tasks, and optimizing workflows to enhance overall efficiency.
Elevated Patient Engagement: Improving communication channels and providing a seamless experience throughout the patient journey.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Empowering clinic staff with comprehensive analytics and reporting tools to facilitate informed decision-making and strategic planning.




Empathize & Research
Research method:
User interviews with clinic staff especially admins.
Secondary research on healthcare industry trends and best practices.
Target User:
Laboratory Clinic staff that familiar with the CRM of the clinic.

Findings: Through the research process, we uncovered key pain points and opportunities that shaped the design direction. These insights, detailed below, provided a deep understanding of user needs and expectations.

Meet Maya Sari, a representation of our target user. Understanding their goals, frustrations, and behaviors was crucial in creating a user-centric solution.

Armed with research findings, I defined the core problems and brainstormed potential solutions. This section outlines our 'How Might We' questions and the strategies I explored to address user needs.
